Let's deep dive into Glucosamine - specifically the two forms available, HCl vs Sulfate. Most people don't go down the ingredients rabbit hole. However, we urge you to look at the type of glucosamine that's offered. Nearly every joint supplement on the market uses the cheaper HCl version, "which is already known to have poorer bioavailability and poor clinical effect"*. Clinical trials suggest that the Sulfate version has a much higher efficacy and, you guessed it, Fera only uses Glucosamine Sulfate to deliver a superior joint supplement!

We noticed there was room for improvement in our Hip & Joint soft chew so we decided to reformulate the inactive base and include the addition of BioPerine® Black Pepper extract, an ingredient that increases absorption and bioavailability of nutrients.

There are 90 soft chews per container.

Dogs that weigh:
less than 29 lbs will have a 90 day supply
30-59 lbs will have a 45 day supply
60-89lbs will have a 30 day supply
90-120 lbs will receive a 20 day supply

Our Hip and Joint is for dogs older than 16 weeks.

There are approximately 14 kcal per soft chew.

An individual chew contains about 15 milligrams of available phosphorus (0.04%), which should have little or no impact on the total amount of phosphorus in the dog’s diet.

    Piece of Mind

    My Aussie is my marathon training partner and my swimming, hiking and agility loving girl. It was crucial early on that I supplemented her diet to take extra care of her hips and joints.

    2 years of taking them and my girl is still as active as ever and now my 9 month old puppy takes them too! I love the high quality, clean ingredients in all of the Fera products!

    I think these are good. My dog takes 2 a day and has been doing that for only a few days, but hopeful this will give her some relief.

    Doing all I can to keep them healthy

    Otis is approaching 9 and I have seen him slow down, but without any noticeable discomfort or pain. I started him on the Hip and Joint chews when he was much younger and he’s still able to jump and move quickly and play with his younger sister (who is also enjoying the chews) without issues. They wait for their chew after every meal like clock work!

    Great chews

    Our golden loves these chews and thinks he is getting a treat every time he gets one. More importantly his limping has improved since we started these. We love that the ingredients are clean. Win/Win for everyone.

    Trying these for my dog
