The Importance of Taurine: Cats and certain dog breeds are unable to produce enough taurine. Though most diets can improve taurine intake, adding cardiac supplements that contain this important amino acid can ensure they receive enough which can then prevent heart disease like dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) or feline central retinal degeneration (FCRD). Fera's cardiac support is formulated to provide an effective dose of taurine to support your pet's heart health. 

*Each capsule is about 23mm in length. For cats, we recommend always opening the capsule and sprinkling the powder on their food.

Yes, we offer the perfect blend of Eastern and Western ingredients but that's merely part of the solution. It's just as important to have the correct amount per serving otherwise those ingredients won't be effective.

Fera's Cardiac Support contains adequate amounts of each active ingredient to contribute to your pet's cardiovascular health.

Give 1 capsule per 25 lbs on a daily basis. If giving more than 1 capsule daily, divide between AM and PM. Capsule may be given whole, in a pill pocket, or opened and sprinkled.

For multi-pet households or large dogs, we recommend the 120ct size.

Frequently Asked Questions

We recommend the 60 capsule size for pets less than 50 pounds. The 60 capsule size will last 60 days for a pet less than 25 pounds and 30 days for a pet between 26-50 pounds.

For pets over 50 pounds or multi-pet households, we recommend the 120 capsule size. This will last 120 days for a pet less than 25 pounds, 60 days for a pet between 26-50 pounds, 40 days for a pet between 51-75 pounds and 30 days for a pet greater than 76 pounds.

No, the powder is salmon flavored. However, the capsule shell is a vegan capsule.

The Coenzyme Q10 in our cardiac support is of the ubiquinone form. Ubiquinol is not stable when exposed to oxygen.

    Enzo’s heart murmur

    It seems to be helping Enzo he isn’t panting as much

    He is still coughing I. Wish there was something to help him with that also the pills the vet gave him for his coughing isn’t helping much as he does have a significant heart murmur and we just want to keep him comfortable

    This saved my dogs life!

    I was sceptical when I first got this supplement, but my dog was diagnosed with CHF, so I had nothing to lose. My vet confirmed the ingredients were safe for my guy. Within 3 days I could not believe the energy!!! His cough also improved. At 3 months, the vet re-checked the levels and HE NO LONGER HAD CHF!!!!!! I love Fera products and will continue to use to support my little guys health. Their probiotics are also top-notch.

    Everyone should try this product.

    I can't begin to tell you what a wonderful product Cardiac Support is. We took in a stray dog 3 months ago, & the vet told us he had congestive heart failure, was around 14 & the best thing to do is put him down. He sent us home with Vetmedin & Lasix. He kept acting worse, my whole goal was to keep him comfortable. This wasn't working for him. Found your product after searching for something to help his heart beat more efficiently. Added Hawthorne leaves & dandelion root together with Cardiac Support & what a difference! He smiles, wags his tail constantly & even runs a little. Yes, I know his time is limited, but he deserved to be loved & comfortable for whatever time he has left. So, thank you for a wonderful product that seems to work well for him.
