Yes! Quality control is our top priority. Before exporting the mushrooms from China, they undergo rigorous testing for microbials (bacteria, yeast and mold, E.coli, and coliforms), heavy metals, pesticides, and a final organoleptic evaluation. Once the mushrooms have arrived in the US, testing is repeated by qualified 3rd party labs for microbials, heavy metals, pesticides that exceed US standards, beta glucan testing to ensure presence of active compounds, ergosterol testing to ensure fungal purity, alpha glucan testing to guard against carriers, Reishi extracts analyzed for triterpenodids, cordyceps analyzed for cordycepin, and a final organoleptic evaluation.

All of our mushroom extracts are made using a hot water extraction (90-100 degrees). Some of our concentrated mushroom extracts are made using both hot water & alcohol (also known as "Dual Extract" or "DE"). After these go through the hot water extraction process, they also go through a 50-95% @80 degree ethanol extraction.
